Following zero reported COVID-19 cases in the NBA prior to the holidays, the National Basketball Players Association has reported multiple players have tested positive.

Of the 498 players tested for Coronavirus since December 30, four new players have returned confirmed positive tests.

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Commissioner Adam Silver said on a league call recently that health experts advised that January is shaping up to be worst month in US in terms of case spikes, and expects improvements beginning in February.

Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test is isolated until they are cleared for leaving isolation under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance.
