Many media outlets reported earlier in the week that Adrian Peterson had gotten his grievance hearing scheduled for Monday, November 17. The NFL, however, had scheduled this meeting to determine the punishment which the NFL would impose upon Peterson under the Personal Conduct Policy.

It could be assumed that Peterson, his lawyer Rusty Hardin, and his representatives from the Players Association had chosen to miss yesterday's meeting because of the meeting set for Monday to hear Adrian's grievance for not being removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List and reactivated to the Minnesota Vikings roster.

It has also been reported that there could have been aspects of the punishment against Peterson by the NFL could have been decided today, however, nothing will necessarily come out to the media until after Monday's meeting. Monday’s meeting was scheduled last week for both sides to hear Adrian’s grievance against the NFL which was filed by the NFL Players’ Association after they determined that the NFL did not follow their contract from when the charges came up and reinstated Adrian back to the Vikings roster.
