Thanksgiving Game
Las Vegas Raiders
Something that has been key to the Raiders' losing streak has been bad third-down play on both sides. For the past three weeks, Las Vegas ranks last in the NFL with a third-down conversion rate. The Raiders had 14 consecutive unsuccessful third chances on offense in the past two games, between making their first attempt against Kansas City and their last against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas was humiliated 0-30 against Denver, then defeated the Falcons 43-3. Now the Cowboys are coming off a 19-9 loss to Kansas City in which the NFL's No. 1 offense, with sub-level displays from quarterback Dak Prescott and the running game, failed to score a touchdown.
The long-awaited return of left tackle Tyron Smith, who missed three games with an ankle injury, could be the boost the Cowboys need to get back on track.
Get Started
In one of the great rivalries of the NFL, the Cowboys host the Raiders in the second Thanksgiving game.

Why do the Cowboys play on Thanksgiving?
Although at first the idea did not look like it would be successful, since it was believed that two games were too much in such an important family celebration, the idea finally came to fruition in the 1966 season thanks to the general manager of the Cowboys, Tex Schramm, who was a marketing genius and has among his achievements the creation of the 'Vaqueritas', the beautiful cheerleaders of the Cowboys.
Schramm saw the Thanksgiving game as an excellent opportunity to give the team national publicity, at a time when they were seeking success under the leadership of a young coach named Tom Landry.
Schramm signed the Cowboys for the game even though the NFL was concerned that fans simply wouldn't show up at the stadium. The NFL even guaranteed the team some income in case no one bought tickets to the game, but against all odds the fans turned out big, and the team broke its attendance record when 80,259 people packed the Cotton Bowl.
That November 24, 1966, the Dallas Cowboys beat the Cleveland Browns 26-14, and since then a second tradition was imposed on Thanksgiving Day. They are the second-highest rated team at Thanksgiving games and have an assigned spot almost every year. Since 1966, the Cowboys have only played twice on this date, in the seventies, and this 2021 they celebrate 43 years in a row playing on this holiday.
This is how the Raiders arrive at the Thanksgiving Game
The defense is allowing an average of 26.2 points per game, ranking 26th in the NFL. Las Vegas is ranked 16th in the NFL in overall defense, allowing an average of 132.1 yards rushing and 220.8 yards passing for a total of 352.9 yards per game. They will have to improve a lot if they want to win the Thanksgiving Game and aspire to the playoffs.

The match will be played at AT&T Stadium
The stadium was used by the Cowboys for the first time on August 21 against the Tennessee Titans on the second date of the 2009 NFL preseason and their first official game was on September 20 against the New York Giants in the date two of the regular season. Its facilities can receive 80,000 fans, with the possibility of expanding it to 94,000 seats.
It has a retractable roof capable of opening or closing in approximately nine minutes; glass doors, air conditioning and a huge double high definition LCD screen hanging above the playing field. The screens of more than 1075 square meters are the largest in the world in a sports venue.
