Patrick Mahomes, a must see player!

The Kansas City quarterback is presenting himself to this new season with the aim of leaving the previous season behind, the Chiefs star was one of the best in the regular season, but this was not enough to reach the Super Bowl. His numbers during the 2021 season were 4,839 passing yards, 37 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions. This is presented to the 2022 season in very good shape and with the aim of continuing to fight among the top 5 quarterbacks of the campaign. If Patrick Mahomes has a healthy season, he, along with Darrel William and Tyreek Hill will fight for a spot in Super Bowl LVII.

How does the Chiefs get here?

The Kansas City team comes after missing out on Super Bowl LVI and losing the AFC title the previous year, they finished in first place in the AFC West with a record of 12 wins and 5 losses. These failed to qualify as the conference leader solely on the difference between points scored and received. They knocked out the Steelers in the Wild Card round, then eliminated Buffalo and lost to Cincinnati in the Conference Final, after emerging as the favorites. The team hasn't made many adjustments and hopes the same core is capable of reaching another Super Bowl and attempting the NFL championship. Early in the preseason, the team fell to Chicago by a score of 19-14 with Mahomes seeing some action in the game.

Taylor Heinicke, a must see player!

The Commanders quarterback begins a new season with the sole mission of maintaining his place in the NFL and seeking to get his team to the NFL Playoffs. The Washington quarterback was the team's offensive leader in passing yardage, with 3,419 passing yards, 20 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions. However, he did not manage to get the team a ticket to the postseason and, although he had good numbers, the team did not. The quarterback's connection with Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin will be essential to have a good season, likewise, he will have good competition against Carson Wentz in search of the starting job, Wentz is expected to put pressure on Heinicke to get his best passes.

How does the Commanders arrive?

The Washington team starts a new season in the American conference, after finishing the regular season in third place in the east of the National Conference with a record of 7 wins and 10 losses. This was one of the main reasons why the team decided to revamp the offense by bringing in Carson Wentz to pressure Taylor Heinicke at quarterback. The team had a negative closure by losing in 4 of the last 5 games, it was at that moment that the season and the illusion of the fans ended. The team's mission will be to fight again the Cowboys and the Eagles. for a ticket to the next round of the NFL. In their first preseason game, the Commanders lost to Carolina by a score of 23-21.
