Peace out.

21:46a year ago
So Fulham have the chance to bounce back from relegation last season at the first attempt on Tuesday. It’ll be a West London derby, and what a game it promises to be.

21:45a year ago

Full time: Fulham 1-2 Cardiff (3-2 AGGREGATE)

90 +6': That’s it! The full time whistle goes and it’s Fulham who will face Brentford in Tuesday’s play-off final for a place in the Premier League.

Cardiff opened the scoring early through Curtis Nelson but it took just 24 seconds for Fulham to level things up on the night thanks to Neeskens Kebano. The Bluebirds then came flying out the traps in the second half and took the lead once again through substitute Lee Tomlin, but, try as they did, they couldn’t find an equaliser.

Fulham go through. Jubilation for them – heartbreak for Cardiff.

21:43a year ago
90 +5': Josh Onomah is booked for holding onto the ball for a very long time. I doubt he'll care.

Just seconds remain.

Oh my! Glatzel volleys but it's over. That may be it.

21:42a year ago
90 +4': Sean Morrison is up front for Cardiff now.

Fulham are literally moments away. Cardiff need a piece of magic from somewhere.

21:39a year ago

Fulham substitution!

90 +1': Maxime Le MArchand is on for Joe Bryan and he comes with a note for Tom Cairney.

We are into five minutes of stoppage time.

21:37a year ago
89': Cardiff are throwing everything at this, but Fulham are holding on.

Just minutes remain.

21:34a year ago
86': Paterson and Hector go head-to-head and the former wins a free kick in a good position.

Rodak, though, punches Ralls' free kick away

They need something quickly here, Cardiff.

21:32a year ago

Cardiff substitution!

84': Ah, no. Tomlin is down holding his hamstring and his night is over.

You have to feel for the guy. He's had so many injury problems of late and here's another.

Gavin Whyte takes Tomlin's place.

21:29a year ago

Cardiff substitution!

81': Again, the corner is cleared - this time by Glatzel.

Reed wins Fulham a free kick as Callum Paterson replaces Josh Murphy.

21:28a year ago
80': Bennett's run proivides Mendez-Laing with some space but the substitute fires wide.

Christie earns his side a corner.

21:25a year ago

Fulham substitution!

77': Denis Odoi is on for Knockaert - that tells you all you need to know about how Scott Parker views the last 15-or-so minutes of this game.

The corner is headed over.

21:24a year ago
76': Christie's cross is blocked before he hits a tame effort that Smithies saves easily.

The hosts then earn a corner with Nelson heading Kamara's cross wide just ahead of Reid.

A bit of a breather for Fulham.

21:22a year ago

Cardiff substitution!

74': Bluebirds top scorer Robert Glatzel is on up top in place of Danny Ward.

Oh my. How have Cardiff not scored?! Glatzel is involved straight away and Rodak then has to deny Mendez-Laing and Vaulks. I think there was another block in there too.

Absolute pinball. It's all Cardiff.

21:19a year ago
21:18a year ago

Booking! Drinks break!

70': Christie goes into the book after a late challenge on Murphy.

Cardiff have a free kick in a good position, but we'll have a drinks break before it's taken.

21:17a year ago

69': Oh my. Kamara lets fly again but Smithies pulls off an incredible save to turn the ball onto the post.

Another Fulham goal would kill this off - but Cardiff still trail by just one.

21:16a year ago
68': Another long throw from Vaulks is cleared.

Kamara gets into the game for the first time and shoots from distance after cutting in from the right. Smithies though, once again, is equal to the effort.

The corner is then cleared.

21:11a year ago

63': Ralls now goes into the book as he hauls Cairney down with the Scot charging down on goal.

Fulham have a free kick in a great position.

It's Kebano territory, but the specialist isn't on the pitch.

Oh dear. Cairney slips and it's well, well... well... well wide.

21:08a year ago
60': Tomlin gets the ball stuck under his feet in the box and Fulham clear, but Cardiff soon have thee ball back. Tomlin, though, is eventually pulled up for a hand ball.

The Bluebirds are well, well on top now.

21:07a year ago

59': Bacuna plays Murphy is down the right and Byran sends the winger into the advertising boards. That's a foul.

Ralls' free kick is too long for Vaulks, but Fulham won't want to give too many more free kicks away.

Marek Rodak is booked for time wasting.

21:06a year ago
57': Cardiff are inches away from being level!

Bacuna curls in a beauty of a ball and Ward, who has been pretty quiet tonight, gets in behind Ream. He so close to a tap in, but can't reach the ball.

21:02a year ago
54': Mendez-Laing and Tomlin link up again down the right and the former's cross is a good one. Christie slips at the wrong time, but Murphy's eventual free header is poor and into Rodak's arms.
21:01a year ago

53': Neeskens Kebano has just walked up to the dugout with an ice pack on his left hamstring. Fulham fans will hope that's not too serious.

Will Vaulks is now booked for tripping Reed, before Knockaert fires wide from distance.

20:59a year ago

51': Smithies gathers and Reid is booked for blocking the keeper's effort to release the ball.

I imagine those involved with Fulham are pretty nervous right now.

20:57a year ago

Goal! Fulham 1-2 Cardiff (Tomlin)

49': A masterclass from Neil Harris?!

Both substitutes are involved as Nathaniel Mendez Laing produces a fine save from Marek Rodak. The rebound falls kindly for Lee Tomlin, though, who volleys home.

Game back on!

47': Nathaniel Mandez-Laing and Lee Tomlin are on for Cardiff, replacing Marlon Pack and Junior Hoilett.

Fulham have also made a change – Neeskans Kebano, who we think picked up an injury of sorts, is swapped for Aboubakar Kamara.

20:53a year ago

Second half underway

45 +1': Cardiff get us back underway at Craven Cottage.

Fulham are 45 minutes away from Wembley.

20:49a year ago

Record-breakers required

As mentioned earlier, Cardiff will be the first ever team to overturn a two goal deficit from the first leg of a Championship play-off game to reach the final if they can get through here.

They have 45 minutes.

20:48a year ago
20:41a year ago
Harris will be so frustrated with his team. An early goal was exactly what they needed to get back into this tie, but lazy defending straight after their goal put them back at square one.

The need to go again.

20:36a year ago

Half time: Fulham 1-1 Cardiff

45 +6': The whistle is blown for half time at Craven Cottage and Fulham will be comfortable with proceedings so far.

Cardiff took the lead early through Curtis Nelson’s header, but Fulham responded just 24 seconds after the restart through Neeskens Kebano, who netted his second goal of the tie.

Cardiff need two goals in the second half if they’re to get anything from this fixture. A big team talk from Neil Harris coming up.

20:35a year ago

45 +5': Christie hits an absolute beauty from, what, 45 yards, and Smithies has to make the save.

Fulham's corner is then cleared.

20:35a year ago

45 +4': Onomah almost reaches a deflected ball but Smithies comes out to sweep away ahead of the midfielder.

Kebano then wins a free kick, and Bacuna is booked.

20:32a year ago
45 +1': There will be a minumum of five additional minutes played at the end of the first half.
20:30a year ago
Scott Parker looks on as his team try to defend their two-goal cushion.

20:29a year ago
44': Bacuna's cross is too deep for Morrison but Bennett keeps it in. Byran wins the ball back and Fulham break, but Cardiff get men back and slow things down.

Not long to go now until half time.

20:26a year ago
40': Vaulks fires another throw in but Fulham clear.

I've just seen his throw that earned Cardiff the corner that led to their goal earlier and it should've been another foul throw. His foot was over the line.

20:22a year ago

36': Reid and Morris go head to head again and Morrison is booked after referee Paul Tierney adjudges him to have handled the ball deliberately.

Joe Bryan's free kick is headed away by Nelson.

20:20a year ago

34': Cairney passes short to Knockaert about 20 yards out and the wide man shoots. He tries to bend it into the far corner, but Smithies gets down well to palm it away.

Cardiff, after two corners, then clear.

20:17a year ago
32': Knockaert plays a beauty of a pass through looking for Reid. The former Cardiff man looks to be in, but Morris puts a great tackle in to knock the ball away from his former teammate at the last minute.
20:15a year ago
30': Cardiff earn another free kick. This time it's an in-swinger, but Morrison's header is tame and Rodak catches easily.

Christie has a shot up the other end but that's too weak and blocked easily.

A bit more power, lads.

20:13a year ago

27': Fulham's turn for a set piece as Knockaert's cross-shot is blocked.

The players are crowding the goalkeeper and Pack heads away. Onomah then shoots, but the ball rebounds off Kebano for a goal kick.

20:11a year ago

Drinks break!

25': We go into the first drinks break of the game and the players will need it - it's very hot in West London.

The game hasn't been a classic so far. We had a frantic couple of minutes which saw goals from both teams, but that's pretty much all there is to report so far.

20:09a year ago

23': Morrison is fine, he's back on.

Hoilett is fouled again by Bryan and Cardiff earn another free kick in a good area. Ralls' cross is headed towards goal, but it's tame and Rodak gathers.

20:08a year ago
22': Morrison is up which is good, but it looks like he has a nasty neck injury.

The Cardiff skipper has an ice pack on his neck. He got a bit of a clattering during that set piece - we'll see if he's OK to carry on soon.

20:05a year ago
19': Hoilett wins a free kick on the right after he beats Bryan and the full back pulls him down.

Cardiff have scored the most goals from set pieces this season - Rodak punches this one, though, and Morrison is down with a head injury.

20:04a year ago
18': Tom Cairney gets a talking to for what I think was a bit of time wasting.

The game is slow right now. That suits Fulham.

20:00a year ago
15': After a mental couple of minutes or so, we're back where we started the game.

It's Fulham on the ball, but Cardiff clear an attack after neat play down the left.

19:56a year ago

Goal! Fulham 1-1 Cardiff (Kebano)

11': Ah, never mind.

Bobby Reid picks up the ball in midfield and has all the time in the world to take it forward.

He plays in Kebano, who scored in the first leg, and the winger gets in front of Bacuna to poke it past Smithies.

24 second between the restart and the equaliser.

19:55a year ago

Goal! Fulham 0-1 Cardiff (Nelson)

9': Well, would you know it? We have a game on.

Ralls whips in the corner and Nelson gets up to head home.

Game. On.

19:54a year ago
8': Will Vaulks fires in long throw but the linesman has deemed it illegal.

He gets another go. This time it's legal, and Rodak tips it over the bar after the bounce. I don't think anyone touched it, but better to be safe than sorry.

19:52a year ago
6': Rodak tries to play out from the back but Hector, for some reason, hammers a long ball out of play.

It's very sunny at Craven Cottage. Lots of hands blocking the sun about.

19:48a year ago

3': No team has ever overturned a two-goal deficit from the first leg of a Championship play-off game to reach the final. Cardiff need to change that tonight if they want to be walking out at Wembley next Tuesday.

It's Fulham with the first shot at goal, as Knockaert fires straight down Smithies' throat.

19:46a year ago

1': After the players take the knee, Fulham get us underway at Craven Cottage.
19:42a year ago
The players are on their ways out onto the pitch, greeted by silence.

We're almost ready to get underway. It should be a good one.

A job for the Bluebirds

So Cardiff have it all to do here tonight.

The Bluebirds trail 2-0 from the first leg, so need to score at least twice if they are to give themselves a chance of making the play-off final on Tuesday.

Fulham are heavy favourites, but, if Cardiff score first, who knows?

18:54a year ago

Cardiff swap three

Neil Harris makes three changes to his Cardiff team from the first leg. Josh Murphy, Danny Ward and Will Vaulks all go into the XI, with Robert Glatzel, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Lee Tomlin dropping to the bench.

Harris confident of comeback

Cardiff manager Neil Harris felt the tie was not over and the pressure was on Fulham, via the BBC, earlier this week.

"We have to dust ourselves down and go again on Thursday," he said.

"I said to the players that the play-off finals I've made, we've been losing and we're at half-time and we're losing the game.

"Fulham are celebrating like they've won the tie. We have to go to Craven Cottage and we have to be positive and that first goal is going to be key in that game."

"Fulham are now huge favourites, but they have everything to lose and we have everything to gain.

"There was a 2-0 deficit in the League Two play-offs. That does not mean it will happen for us, but ultimately we need to be positive."

14:02a year ago

Parker confused with comments

Neil Harris had plenty to say about Fulham's celebration on Monday, and Fulham boss Scott Parker was confused why, via the BBC:

"Neil's obviously said a lot over the last week and few weeks," said Parker.

"I didn't see anything that was over the top. Certainly at the end of the game I just see a professional team that understood there's only half this tie done to be honest with you.

"Regarding the goals and the celebrations, yeah of course I see players who were pleased, and rightly so, to score two goals away from home.

"If Neil felt like that, I don't really know why."

Cardiff City: Team news

Winger Josh Murphy could return to the starting XI, but the Cardiff will still be without the injured Isaac Vassell.

Long-term injury absentee Greg Cunningham has been back in full training, but this game may come too soon for a return to action.

13:56a year ago

Fulham: Team news

Ivan Cavaleiro is Fulham's only long-term injury absentee, so Scott Parker has almost a fully fit side to choose from.

The former midfielder will be reluctant to make changes following an impressive first leg, but, if Championship Golden Boot winner Aleksander Mitrovic is deemed fit enough to play after missing the first leg, Bobby Reid will more than likely drop to the bench.

13:53a year ago

All to do for Cardiff

Neil Harris' side finished a respectable fifth in the Championship table, but will be disappointed with their performance in the first leg on Monday.

An early goal here could change things, but the Bluebirds have it all to do. A play-off final spot is at stake.

13:51a year ago

Hosts strong favourites

Fulham ended the normal Championship season in good form and almost snuck into the automatic promotion places on the final day of the season.

They had to settle for the play-offs, though. They are, however, well placed in this tie.

13:49a year ago
A play-off final at Wembley is at steak here, and Cardiff have it all to do after Fuham won the first leg 2-0 thanks to goals from Josh Onomah and Neeskens Kebano.

Scott Paker's side have one foot on that Wembley turf.

Kick-off time

Fulham vs Cardiff City will be played at Craven Cottage, in London, England. The kick-off is scheduled at 19:45 BST.
