As expected, newly instated coach Walter Mazzarri has declared his interest in bringing some of his former Napoli players with him to Inter and a deal could soon be struck.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs discussed the possibility of a swap deal involving Fredy Guarin, Valon Behrami and Juan Zuniga. Guarin is an apparent target for Mazzarri's replacement, Rafael Benitez, who has allegedly declared interest in the Colombian midfielder. More talkswere set to be held to bring about a clearer vision to this potential cross-transfer.
However, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has denied the existence of such a deal by tweeting that "Zuniga and Behrami will stay in Napoli".
