It only took Victor Oladipo a couple of practices at 'the bubble' to realize he's game ready, and wants to help his team get over the hump in the playoffs.
The Pacers star might have a change of heart and is considering playing for the Pacers after having a few solid practices in Orlando, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.
There is growing belief Pacers star Victor Oladipo will attempt to play in the NBA’s restarted season after multiple strong team practices in Orlando, sources inside the bubble tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) July 13, 2020
Oladipo has been fully participating in five-on-five scrimmages, and there’s optimism around his playing status. 'Dipo'' initially said he would travel with the team but wouldn't play, in order to continue rehab and try to be 100% ready for the coming NBA season.
The guard competed in only 13 games this season, averaging 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3 assists per contest. Oladipo suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee back in 2019, and did not play for almost a year.
