The April 4th Fight Night Card that takes place at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia is finally set with its full lineup. The card is headlined by featherweight contenders Chad Mendes (16-2) and Ricardo Lamas (15-3). The UFC plans on airing 10 fights on Fox Sports 1 for the rare card that will start in the early afternoon. The card has two women bantamweight fights on the card including a slew of the lower weight division match ups. The co main will feature an ever changing bout between Jorge Masvidal (28-8) and Al Iaquinta (11-3-1).

It is a good idea to set a reminder as the main card starts off at 1 pm ET and as mentioned before FOX Sports 1 will air ten of the fights on their channel. Ricardo Lamas is coming off a very impressive submission win against Dennis Bermudez and welcomes Mendes as a way to place himself back in title contention. The same can be said for Mendes who last fought the champion Aldo and is looking for a third shot. Two great wrestlers who definitely know how to mix it up on their feet.

Jorge Masvidal is not a happy man and he has a little validity in this reasoning. He has wanted to fight Bobby Green, Cowboy Cerrone and even Benson Henderson who was last scheduled for this match before moving up for this past Saturday. He is upset because he does not feel up and comer Al Iaquinta is at the level or ranking of where he is.

Al is a great fighter and has been taking everything Jorge says with strive and feels confident enough that he can get the job done. The main card also features the return of TUF 18 winner Julianna Pena as she makes her long awaited return after an injury sidelined her for a year.
