In order to maintain himself healthy from both Coronavirus and injuries, the Wizards Forward Davis Bertans, has opted to sit out the rest of the season and will not attend 'the bubble' in Orlando.

Bertans, who has had two ACL injuries during his career, received complete support by the Washington Wizards organization. The Forward ntered the 2019-20 NBA season signing a 1-yr/$7M contract that allowed him to become an Unrestricted Free Agent at the end of this season.

From Latvia, the 27 year-old was having a career year with Washington. After participating in the MTN DEW 3pt. Contest during All-Star Weekend, Bertans finished the season averaging  15 points per game on 42 percent 3-point shooting.

Despite not traveling to Orlando to compete, Bertans is still expected to participate in pre-Orlando training with team.
