Despite suffering an Achilles injury earlier this season, David Nwaba has secured a bag for the coming year, as he has been signed by the Houston Rockets to a two-year deal.
Nwaba will earn $900K to finish the season, with team option for 2020-21, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic. The 27 year-old will remain sidelined for the resumed season at Orlando.

The Cal Poly product played 20 games this season where he averaged 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
In order to have room for Nwaba to make the roster, Houston cut Center, Isaiah Hartenstein. The 22 year-old German was the G-League Finals MVP for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers last season, but still couldn't find minutes in Mike D'Antoni's rotation.
