11:47 AM EST - If UGA can run the ball effectively today it won't be a good day to be a Vols fan. If UT manages to stop the run, the Vols just might pull the upset. Either way it will be a great game to get up for and look.
11:39 AM EST - With the game in Athens that makes a Vols upset much more difficult to happen, but the Vols seemingly have all the tools they need. Butch Jones after a bye week has a great record, that's also when the Vols beat South Carolina last year.
11:33 AM EST - Overall UGA has the obvious talent advantage. That hasn't meant much in this rivalry recently. Expect this to be a hard-fought win for whichever team can commit the fewest mistakes.
11:25 AM EST - Worley has to get the ball into the hands of the talented WR's at UT. Von Pearson, the JUCO sensation, and Josh Smith are both out for the Vols for this game which severly limits the passing options for Worley. Highly touted 5 star receiver Josh Malone is to start opposite MarQuez North in this game. Malone has all the tools to play well even as a true freshmen, he needs to have a great game for the Vols to have a chance at this.
11:18 AM EST - The Vols need Hurd to have a breakout game. If UGA shuts down the run game, the Vols become one-dimensional and easy to figure out. The Vols are too young to let that happen. Justin Worley needs to be protected as well. The last game the Vols played against Oklahoma he was peppered all night with pressure hits and sacks. The Oline has to protect Worley today.
11:12 AM EST - Tennessee's keys are fairly similar. Jalen Hurd is a true freshmen running back who was hyped more than any recruit the Vols have gotten in a long time. So far he has lived up to that hype. Through 3 games he has averaged over 4 yards per carry and is outcarrying Marlin lane so far into the year.
11:07 AM EST - Another strength for UGA is their linebackers. The Vols have a good young running back in Jalen Hurd who they will be looking to shut down. That should be a great matchup all day long. UGA does have a ton of injuries today though with Marshall still nursing an injury suffered from last years' UT-UGA game and a number of top receivers out. This makes it all the more important for Todd Gurley to be Todd Gurley. Look for him to get the ball in a number of ways as often as possible.
11:03 AM EST - Hutson Mason has not had to put the game in his hands yet this season and he has not thrown for more than 190 yards all season when it counts. If the Vols somehow stop the run, UGA will be in a much more difficult position.
10:58 AM EST - Let's look at the key notes for each team today. First for Georgia. This isn't too hard to figure out. It starts and ends with Todd Gurley. He is without a doubt one of if not the best tailback in the country. He is a man child. Gurley has the speed to make defenders miss with the power to run over anyone in his way. UGA needs Gurley to have a good game.
10:54 AM EST - Rivalry games and any games in SEC play are always much closer than people think, so don't think for a minute this will be an easy win. Expect a hard-fought entertaining game more than likely going into the fourth quarter still close.
10:50 AM EST - Last years' game was one of the most exciting college football games of the season when Tennessee managed to bring the Bulldogs into overtime. Then Alton "Pig" Howard had the now infamous fumble into the end-zone which counted as a turnover and UGA won it with a field goal.
