Preseason Biletnikoff Award look list member Jamal Robinson will be out for the season, according to Louisiana-Lafayette's head coach Mark Husdpeth.

Robinson underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair damage cause by an injury to his right foot in the Ragin' Cajuns 34-10 win over Texas State on Tuesday.

The injury for Robinson is not his first this season as he missed two games earlier this season after suffering a knee injury in UL-L's second game of the season. However, by just playing in four games this season, Robinson was still able to lead the Ragin' Cajuns in receiving yards and touchdowns with 260 yards and four touchdowns respectively.

Last season, Robinson lead the team in receptions with 54 along with 862 yards and eight touchdowns, both also leading the team.

The Ragin' Cajuns (3-3, 2-0) take on Arkansas State (4-2, 2-0) on Tuesday night in a clash of teams unbeaten in Sun Belt Conference play.
