Israel Players to Watch

We have to pay attention to these three players, they are very important for the team and Tuesday's victory depends on them. First point guard Deni Avdija (#8), plays with the Washington Wizards of the NBA, in the tournament he has managed to average 15.7 points, 9 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He is the team's top scorer and his offensive presence is very important for Israel. Another player is point guard Tamir Blatt (#45) who plays for ALBA Berlin and is the team's biggest assister. He is averaging 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Finally, center Tomer Ginat (#41) who is the team's second highest rebounder and averages 4.3 rebounds per game. He will be very important defensively and we have to keep an eye on him.

Like Serbia, Israel is in Group D and started the tournament very well with two wins and one loss. At the moment they are in third place in the group and their goal is to take second place from Poland. Their last game was against Poland, Israel lost 85-76 and thus got their first loss in the tournament. They arrive as the underdogs to win this game, however they could surprise the tournament and defeat Serbia on Tuesday.

Serbian Players to Watch

NBA player Nikola Jokic (#15), plays for the Denver Nuggets (USA)‎. During the first three games of the tournament he has posted 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game, making him the team's top scorer. He is one of the most important players in Serbia and is responsible for leading the team to the next stage of the tournament. Point guard Vasilije Micic (#22), plays for ANADOLU EFES and is the team's biggest assister in the tournament. He is averaging 14 points, 2.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game. It will be very important for Serbia to win on Tuesday. Lastly, forward Marko Jagodic-Kuridza (#21), plays at Buducnost VOLI and will be very important for rebounding in the game. Per game he gets 4.3 points, 1.3 assists and 4 rebounds, this makes him the second highest rebounder on the team. All three players are considered key to Serbia's offensive attack and the responsibility of the team falls on them.

Serbia in the tournament

The Serbian team finds itself in Group D with Poland, Israel, Finland, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Serbia seeks to be among the first four places in its group to advance to the round of 16 directly. He started the tournament very well by winning his first three matches on Friday, Saturday and Monday, he is expected to maintain his level and advance to the next phase. Their last game resulted in a victory against Finland, the Serbian national basketball team won 100 to 70 points and thus Serbia took the first place in the group. They arrive as favorites to win the game because of the good team they have and the good time they are going through.

EuroBasket

It is also known as the European Men's Basketball Championship, it is an official international championship that is played between the national teams of the FIBA European continent. It is endorsed by FIBA and takes place every 4 years. The last champion was Slovenia, on September 17, 2017 they faced Serbia and the Slovenian team ended up winning 93 to 85 points.
