Brighton & Hove Albion have been handed a tough opening game to the 2020/21 Premier League season as the Seagulls' fixture list was revealed on Thursday.

Albion will play host to Frank Lampard and Chelsea on September 14th to begin their fourth successive season in the top flight. Five days later, they travel to face Newcastle United for their initial away match of the new season.

Key dates

Brighton host Manchester United on September 26th to close out the month. Champions Liverpool pay a visit to the AMEX Stadium on November 28th.

December is highlighted by a trip to Leicester City on the 12th and a home match with F.A. Cup champions Arsenal on the 28th in what is the last match of 2020.

The first game of 2021 will see Brighton host Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 2nd with a trip to Manchester City coming 11 days later and a visit to Liverpool on February 3rd.

March kicks off with Leicester visiting the AMEX while April has Brighton travelling to Manchester United on the 3rd, Chelsea on the 17th and Sheffield United on the 24th.

The run-in could prove to be very challenging with an away game at Wolves on May 8th, Manchester City on the 15th in the last home game of the campaign and a season-ending match at Arsenal on the 23rd.
