On the threat of Spurs

"A big one. They have such a lot of very, very good players throughout the team. The enormous threat they pose with their attacking options. We expect it to be  a remarkably difficult challenge."

"You always like to think that this will be your weekend."

"I think in games like Tottenham away, you're aware, to get a result, you need goals because they've got so many goals in them."

Joel Ward’s swansong

Joel Ward has become a key component of Hodgson’s side. Due to the injury problems sustained by Nathan Ferguson and Nathaniel Clyne, Ward’s contributions have been needed more than ever.

Ward, 30, is one of the 11 players who are out of contract come the summer, however, as he nears towards a decade of service, it would be a gung-ho decision to let Ward leave.

Hodgson was ‘optimistic’ on Zaha

Today, we will find out whether talisman, Wilfried Zaha, will be back in contention for a place in the team; after suffering from a hamstring injury that he suffered over a month ago against Newcastle United.

Whilst the Eagles have found a way to stand tall without the crux of their side, Zaha is still an irreplaceable foundation of the team.

Roy Hodgson will provide an update on his progress.

A resilient performance

A battered and bruised Crystal Palace have to pick themselves up once again, as they look to conclude their week of fixtures against a resurgent Tottenham Hotspur side.

The Eagles have battled valiantly in their recent performances, grinding out an impressive 0-0 draw with a high-flying Fulham, before thwarting a free-flowing Manchester United side, neutralising the pace and threat with a robust display.
