The Cruiserweight Classic is full of performers from all around the world and Da Mack may be the wackiest of the lot.
The German wrestler is hoping to add his touch of the uncommon to the squared circle and moonwalk his way to victory.
On making Germany proud
Despite being well known in his homeland, Da Mack is little-known performer around the world but with his chance to shine on the big scene he is surely going to be remembered.
The performer says that he is the living embodiment of the late Michael Jackson and just like the way the music icon was the King of Pop, he is hoping to be the king of The Cruiserweight Classic.
He said, "I am the MJ (Michael Jackson) reincarnation and Hamburg’s finest it is go time. I am one of the best cruiserweights in Germany but now it is my first big tournament on the big stage."
The German claims that he is "one of the best" cruiserweights in his home country but now that he is here is hoping to prove that he one of the best in the world.
He said, "Germany I am here to make you proud, I am here to make me proud and I am here to win this tournament to represent Germany but it is a big pressure to me."
On what he will bring to the table
Each performer will be bringing their own secret ingredient to the table that is full to the brim of the best 32 cruiserweights in the world.
Da Mack however is hoping to bring something the audience have never seen before and is planning to go all out to be victorious come the end of the tournament.
He said, "I want to show a different side to Germany, I want to show the entertainment side, you cannot be too flashy. I come in with a moonwalk, it is a homage to Michael Jackson, he is one of the best ever and I want to be Michael Jackson of wrestling and that is the reason I am the MJ reincarnation."
With the 29-year-old clearly confident in his abilities he is hoping that his performance in the tournament will eventually earn him a contact with the WWE.
He finished with, "The people should stand behind me when I step into the ring, I am here not only to wrestle, I am here to win the tournament and maybe in the future there is a contract for me from WWE."
