WrestleMania 32 was a landmark night in the history of women's wrestling, a triple threat match between three of the very best women's wrestlers around today with all the glitz and glamor of a typical 'Mania main event with the difference being women were involved. From the brilliant entrances to the exceptional match everything about it was fantastic but there was one clear star from the crowd reaction, Sasha Banks.

Despite not walking away with the Women's Championship like most fans thought she would, Banks showcased exactly why she is the future of the women's division in the WWE, yet since then she has barely been used on television and is currently without a storyline or a direction. Even though whenever the 'New Era' is brought up, Banks' name seems to be brought up alongside it which has left the WWE Universe confused about her current status with the company.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

It appears there is a reason behind her absence that was revealed today by Dave Meltzer when he answered a question over Twitter posed by a fan when he responded, “Working a full schedule, just being kept off a TV program for long-term storyline reasons.”

When she will return wasn't specified but if it is based on a long-term storyline it is very likely to be surrounding the Women's Championship and could be built towards a major SummerSlam match in what could be the moment when she finally picks up the title.

Whilst fans might be disappointed that Banks will likely be kept away from television for some time it is a positive note that she is working a full-time schedule on the road and is competing at live events which shows there is no injury scares or a chance of ring rust taking place. Some speculation had taken place that she would be helping Becky Lynch in her current feud against Emma and Dana Brooke but with Emma's injury that is unlikely to happen and Banks will continue on her path that WWE has her on until she returns for her storyline pay off.
