Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino made it perfectly clear he does not fear Arsenal and Arsene Wenger but, instead, he is full of admiration.

He spoke about his admiration for the Gunners boss and was keen to praise Wenger on his impressive 18 year tennure as Arsenal manager as he addressed reporters on Thursday afternoon.

Ahead of the upcoming North London Derby, he eluded to what he believes will spell victory for Spurs, 'heart' and went on to say 'We want to get the three points from the beginning'.

Spurs must make a quick start if they want to go 2 points better than the draw last September. If they play like they did against Chelsea anything is possible. It remains to be seen who will be victorious this time in the classic white and red clash but there will surely be no hard feelings between the two men stood on the touchline.

Pochettino said, speaking to the BBC press: "I admire him and i have a good relation, alright relation, he is not my friend, this is true. It is not easy to stay 18 years at the same club. He is a manager that is one of the best in the world."

When questioned about his opinions on the fixture itself, the Argentine replied: "I think it is a special game, a lucky game. We speak about emotions. This is the type of game that you need to put your heart in on the pitch."

"I think that we have improved, this is a different game than usual. We play at White Hart Lane and like the meeting at Emirates it is a special game. We must play with our heart because it is a special day for our supporters. We want to get the three points from the beginning of the game. We are ready, we have improved, we need to improve more but we have improved from our last meeting."
