The Big Guy wanted to make it clear that his decision to leave WWE was in no away about the money proposed; surely not considering the huge amount the company was offering.

According to the 34-year-old, he said he "walked away" from the promotion even after they tabled a "three-year $1.5 million contract."

The huge amount that was offered will be a shock considering the lack of screen time often afforded to the former Intercontinental Champion but like he said; money was never the issue.

According to the performer, his main reason for leaving was the way he was lied to regarding opportunities that he was supposed to be given.

Mr. McMahon apparently said that he would become the "top heel in the company" and that never came close to being the case.

Also, Ryback (real name Ryan Allen Reeves) said there were other issues such as merchandising promises that never came to be as well the cost of travel expenses.

Squashing AJ Styles

One of the more shocking stories that the performer discussed during the lengthy podcast chat was the bizarre plan for him to 'squash' AJ Styles at WrestleMania 32.

According to Ryback, Mr. McMahon told him that he would "squash that little twerp" although those plans like so many others name came to fruition.

Styles ended up facing rival Chris Jericho while the released performer took on Kalisto with the United States Championship on the line.

Currently, the future of Ryback will be on the independent scene where he commands a fee of around $5,000 per performance.
