Two weeks to go for the season restart at Orlando, and teams are making some final changes to their rosters in order to be ready. Some of them aspiring for the playoffs, others for the championship, but everyone is getting ready.

The Washington Wizards have signed G-League 'stud' Jarrod Uthoof to a deal for the remainder of the season, according to Shams Charania from The Athletic.

This past season, with the Memphis Hustle, Uthoff was on a mission, being named a first-team All-G League player. The guard averaged 18.9 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. He also shot 49% from the field and 36.3% from three-point land.

Uthoff, who played three seasons at University of Iowa, has appeared in 13 games in the NBA, nine with the Dallas Mavericks in the 2016/2017 season and four with the Memphis Grizzlies this year.

The 27 year-old joins Jerian Grant as the substitute players for the Wizards, since the team won't have Davis Bertans and Bradley Beal for the restart.

Washington is currently six games behind the Orlando Magic in the race for the eight seed in the Eastern Conference.
