West Ham United captain Mark Noble has said that he is looking forward to returning to the London Stadium, ahead of Saturday's clash with Stoke City.
Making it feel like home
West Ham's move to the their new home has been marred by controversy, with crowd trouble and the ever-increasing cost of the stadium, and the performances of the pitch haven't been much better.
However Slaven Bilic's side have picked up their performances in the last few weeks, with it being topped off with the 2-0 victory over Chelsea in the League Cup, and the skipper said that he is looking forward to returning to Stratford.
"We have made the big move into the London Stadium and it was going to take time to get used to our new surroundings," Noble told whufc.com, and the midfielder claimed that the Chelsea victory "really made it feel like home and I am really pleased about that."
He continued: "We then produced a fantastic performance against Chelsea and it was a fantastic evening with great support. We didn't really get recognised for that."
The skipper added: “Hopefully that will change against Stoke, but we know it will be another tough encounter as Stoke have won their last three Premier League games.”
Enjoying a change
West Ham's rise in form, seems to have coincided in a change in system, with Bilic opting for a three-man defence and accompanying wing backs, and Noble said that he is enjoying the alterations which have taken place.
“Slaven has changed the system in recent games and I am really enjoying it," he said. “Changing to three at the back and players like Pedro and Edimilson coming into the team has been a major bonus and the teams looks better for it."
Noble concluded by saying that he feels the team is much more "solid" and that it has given the team “the foundation to go on and win games.”
West Ham United will take on Stoke City at the London Stadium on Saturday, November 5 with kick-off at 3pm BST.
