After storming past Sheffield Wednesday in mid week, West Brom are on the hunt for their second win since footballs return - with 19th place Hull City making the pilgrimage to the Hawthorns on Sunday.

Hull come into this game after beating Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough side 2-1 at home - the Tigers will look to continue their winning ways, allowing breathing room for themselves near the bottom of the table.

Key Battles

Hull's midfielder Daniel Batty will look to contain the threat of Matheus Pereira - the Brazilian has 20 goal contributions so far this season, eight goals and 12 assists, which is the highest amount of goal contributions of all West Brom players this season.

Pereira has set the Championship alive this season after initially signing on loan from Sporting CP. His ability to glide with the ball, trickery and eye for goal means the midfielder will be one to watch for Hull.

Previous Meetings

Albion have won three of their previous five meetings with Hull - drawing one and losing one.

Their most recent victory came in November, the only goal of the game from Jake Livermore, netting against his former club at the KCOM Stadium in an uneventful clash in the Championship.

Team News

Albion's only absentee for the clash is the impressive young full-back Nathan Ferguson - who hasn't featured for the Baggie's since the restart.

Hull will be without Herbie Kane, who limped off after Hull's victory over Middlesbrough - a game in which he got on the score sheet. Defender Callum Elder is also expected to miss the game after picking up a knock.

Predicted Line-ups

West Brom XI: Johnstone; O'Shea, Hegazi, Ajayi, Gibbs; Livermore, Sawyers; Grosicki, Pereira, Robinson; Austin (4-2-3-1).

Hull XI: Long; Pennington, Wijs, Burke, Fleming; Wilks, Batty, Stewart, Scott; Lopes; Magennis (4-4-1-1).

Managers Thoughts

Slaven Bilić has insisted his side must remain focused and not let his team slip out of the automatic promotion spots -insisting that his team's clash against Hull is about more than three points:

“A victory at this stage of the season is worth more than just the three points,” he said.

“The next day, you don’t feel tired, everything is different, you feel positive and you want to play the next game straight away.

“There is a different momentum and once you get that, you can’t let it slip away.”

Three points will also go a long way for Hull, boss Grant McCann stresses how important it is that his side pick up as many points as possible to help them avoid the drop:

"I'm not sure really (how many points will keep us up), how long is a piece of string?

"I certainly know it's going to be a lot higher than the average over the past two or three years.

"Everyone's fighting for their lives down there, we're no different."
