Tottenham's attacking effectiveness was perhaps the only good thing the team can take out of this disappointing season.

Spurs efforts' were rewarded by the Professional Footballers' Association, as Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son featured in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year while Erik Lamela won the Premier League’s Budweiser Goal of the Season award.

Kane and Son

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son formed one of the most lethal duos in the world, which secured them a spot in the PFA Team of The Year.

Kane, who became just the second player in league's history to finish the season as the Premier League's leading goal scorer (23) and assists leader (14), recorded the fifth appearance in the line-up of his career.

On the other hand, the South Korean star had an impressive campaign, recording his best-ever Premier League season with 17 goals and 10 assists.

Lamela at the Emirates

It is not unusual to see Erik Lamela take a touch with his left foot even though it is more natural to do it with his right foot.

Thanks to his decision-making, the Argentinian International has won the Premier League’s Budweiser Goal of the Season award for his ‘rabona’ against Arsenal.

Spurs ended up losing 2-1 in the North London Derby and Lamela himself was sent off in the second half.

This is not the fist time Lamela has scored a 'rabona' for Spurs, considering he had previously executed it against Asteras Tripolis in the UEFA Europa League in 2014.

This 'banger' also won the Goal of the Season award from the BBC’s Match of the Day, at the London Football Awards and was initially chosen as the Premier League’s Goal of the Month for March.
