After playing a pivitol role in his side's return to the Championship, defender Aden Flint has extended his Bristol City contract by a further two years.
The 25-year-old scored an impressive 15 goals last season from the heart of City's defence while also guiding his team to 24 clean sheets in all competitions.
Flint played a major role in Bristol City's league one title triumph while also helping them lift the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in March at the expense of Walsall.
Now going into his first ever Championship season, Flint said: "I wouldn't have dreamt of getting a contract extension at the start of last season."
On his club's success he added: "I think it's been a half-decent season personally for me and obviously a tremendous season for the club as a whole."
The 6 ft 5 centre-back is now contracted at the club until 2019 after signing from former club Swindon Town in 2013.
