Mind games or not, the Tottenham Hotspur supporters should be a little worried about the latest Jose Mourinho's statements. The Portuguese manager revealed that Harry Kane, Sergio Reguilon, Erik Lamela and Carlos Vinicius have all picked up injuries and are doubtful for this week's games.

This is a sensitive topic, considering one of the only things that can get in the way of Spurs lifting trophies this season are injuries.

When asked about it, Mourinho said that three out of those four players are an injury doubt for the North London derby this weekend, and are not expected to play in the Europa League clash against LASK.

“All injured. Lamela is an injury that comes already three weeks, a month - something like that, and I don't believe he has a chance for the weekend,” Jose said. “Harry, Vinicius and Sergio there is a chance for them to be [back] for the weekend.”

These four players join Toby Alderweireld in the injury list for Spurs, who picked up a hamstring injury against Manchester City last week. Although he was expected to miss from two-to-four weeks, Jose Mourinho revealed that the centre-back is doing really well in his recovery process.

“In his process of recovery, he's doing very well and there's a chance that he plays (against Arsenal). But Joe (Rodon) played against Chelsea and was not an easy first match to play and Davinson (Sanchez) will play tomorrow too so we have our options,” Mourinho added. “So if Toby cannot play we will not cry like we didn't against Chelsea and it will be a chance for another one.”

Rodon made an impressive debut against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this past weekend, keeping a clean sheet alongside Eric Dier
