The draw for the second round of the FA Cup took place on Monday night, but before taking a look at the draw here are some of the major talking points from the first round.

Round One round-up

Canvey Island made it to the second round after a 2-1 win over Banbury United from the tier above.

Chorley made the headlines coming back from 2-0 down against Wigan Athletic to win 3-2 and progress to round two.

Marine were one of the heroes of round one, beating League Two Colchester United on penalties on Saturday.

Kings Lynn Town had an afternoon to remember, knocking out Port Vale by a single goal.

Oxford City added themselves to the list of non-league sides in the second round with a win over Northampton Town on Monday night.

Other upsets include Mansfield Towns win over Sunderland, Darlingtons win at Swindon Town and Boreham Woods win over Southend United of League Two.

Meanwhile, Monday's second round draw gives plenty of non-league sides a chance to progress and potentially play Premier League opposition in the third round.
