A week after their previous meeting, Arsenal face an away trip to Bodo/Glimt to make it three wins out of three in the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta’s side impressed against their Norwegian opposition, in a game which saw them come out 3-0 winners.

Goals from Eddie Nketiah and Rob Holding put Arsenal in the driving seat in the tie, before a late goal from Fabio Vieira to seal the three points.

A very comfortable victory with a rotated squad will certainly please Arteta, with his squad seemingly able to cope with the congested fixture schedule thus far.

The Norweigan side, on the other hand, sit on four points from three games, having played a game more than their opposition.

They are currently level with PSV Eindhoven in second place, so they will view this as an extremely important game and will certainly be gunning for all three points at home.

A win against Zurich and an impressive draw against PSV show they are not to be taken lightly in this group. Having played Arsenal recently, they will know what to expect this time around.

Team News

Arsenal

Arsenal will be without star striker Gabriel Jesus for this tie after he was absent from training this week, likely from the knock he took against Liverpool.

Eddie Nketiah would therefore be expected to start a third consecutive Europa league match. Young striker Khayon Edwards could feature on the bench in the absence of Jesus after training with the senior squad this week.

Oleksandr Zinchenko will also miss out once again, after missing Sunday’s game against Liverpool. Whilst Emile Smith Rowe and Mohamed Eleny continue their stint on the sidelines.

Bodo/Glimt

Joel Mvuka is likely to replace Ola Solbakken at right wing after the latter started their home win on the weekend.

Sondre Fet and Gaute Hoberg Vetti are Kjetil Knutsen’s only absentees for this game, with all others in the squad available for selection.

Likely Line-up

Arsenal – Turner, Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Lakonga, Xhaxa, Vieira, Marquinos, Nelson, Nketiah

Bodo/Glimt – Haikin, Sampsted, Moe, Lode, Wembangomo, Vetlesen, Berg, Saltnes, Mvuka, Espejord, Pellegrino

Key Players

Fabio Vieira

The midfielder signed from Porto has surely made himself one of the first names on the team sheet in this competition after last week's performance, which saw him score and gain an assist.

He replaces Martin Odegaard in the side, but Arsenal do not lack too much on the technical side as Vieira has shown his limited minutes this season.

His last season at Porto highlights what he is capable of, scoring seven times with an impressive 16 assists to his name. His creative flair is massively helped by his ability to read the space around him, he will certainly be a key player once more against Bodo/Glimt.

Amahl Pellegrino

The Norweigan winger has scored 21 goals in 22 games in the league, whilst adding four more in Champions League qualifying, making him the club's top scorer.

He does not lack too much service in this side, where they have created many chances across their three games. Although he is yet to score in this competition, he will certainly be motivated to bring his scoring pedigree to a massively important fixture.
